Retired teachers demand that Issstesin return the housing fund

Los Mochis, Sin.- Give them the return of the housing fund that corresponds to them for their retirement from work, demand Retired teachers and pensioners of the collective Somos Más Que 53 and of the Delegational Struggle Committee section 53 of the National Union of Education Workers -SNTE- to the Institute of Security of the Social Service of Education Workers of the State of Sinaloa -Issstesin-.

The teachers’ spokespersons, Jose Ramon Camacho Castillo and Gelasio Rodriguez Bojorquez, they cited that in the previous state administration they seized the palace and paralyzed activities, achieving recognition of this right and teachers of 70 years of age and over will begin to be paid in the first stage, but those between 60 and 69 years of age are missing.

They added that despite the fact that since last August 30 andl Collegiate Court of Mazatlán sentenced the Issstesin to pay the more than 200 teachers who filed lawsuits to return the millions of pesos that they owe them, to date the Issstesin has refused to pay because the Conciliation and Arbitration Board has not wanted to authorize the embargoes, so they ask the Governor Rubén Rocha Moya to support them.

“We are asking the Governor to continue with the second stage payments of these compañeros because many are already old, sick and dying.”

The teachers pointed out that they will file a collective lawsuit of retirees and pensioners for the recovery of the union dues illegally collected after their retirement.
