The BBC judge gave a feedback to Aljaz Skorjanec and Kate Silverton when he suddenly stood up and hurled Shirley Ballas off her performance.
"I think you stare at defrosting," Burno told the newsreader.
He added, "I felt tingling, there were some great shapes and beautiful lines …"
When he said that a tango should be like a game of cat and mouse, he jumped off his chair and wrapped his hands around Shirley.
The TV beauty gasped as Bruno tipped her back for a demonstration.
Host Tess Daly tried to get the situation under control again and said, "And he's out … are you alright, Shirley?"
The blushing dancer laughed before answering, "Yes, I am fine, I am very calm."
But while she might have seen the weird side, Judge Darcey Bussell looked anything but impressed.
The 49-year-old flinched in her seat and broke away from Bruno and Shirley, as Craig Revel Horwood continued to stare.
A fan wrote to Twitter to talk about the bizarre antics and wrote, "If he's gay, Bruno sure knows how to handle Shirley and literally jump off her feet."
Another added, "Shirley Ballas looks like a queen."
"Darcey is completely unable to hide how tired she is when Bruno runs around there," a third onlooker continued.
A fourth raged: "A stripper did that to me once, giving him a Shirley."
