Doha: Qatar’s first technical high school for girls will open in September, the Ministry of Education has announced. The aim is to admit 90 students in the first year.
The school aims to enhance the participation of Qatari women in national development. The ministry said in a statement that the school would help strengthen the presence of women alongside men in the field of technology.
Admission is open to 90 students who have passed Class IX in the first academic year. Qataris, children of Qatari mothers and children born in Qatar can study here. Online registration will take place from August 16 to September 3.
