Would that have happened if the guys from the Irish band Inhaler “Flowers” would have released? Honestly, probably not. And yet the musicians grabbed the song and covered it for the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. What can we say, the track also sounds outrageously good as an indie rock song.
“Flowers” is the lead single from Miley’s forthcoming album Endless Summer Vacation, due out on March 10th. In the track, Miley sings about how she doesn’t need a relationship to be happy. If you listen carefully, you could find references to her ex-relationship with Liam Hemsworth. However, this has not been officially confirmed.
Inhaler will release their second album Cuts & Bruises on February 17th. Of course, they also performed their latest single “Love Will Get You There” during their visit to the Live Lounge. But now there’s Inhaler’s cover version of Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” on your ears.
