Interesting information was found in the description of one of the vacancies in the Naughty Dog studio.
Naughty Dog, in particular, is looking for a graphic programmer who has to work on The Last of Us Part 2 and, in particular, “develop and implement new and existing rendering technologies.”
The job description mentions a thorough understanding of the AMD GCN and NVIDIA CUDA architectures, as well as “experience with DirectX12, Vulkan, or other modern APIs.”
Sony consoles are known to use AMD technology.
The vacancy, at least on the LinkedIn social network, appeared two days ago – at about the same time that the Kotaku publication announced the imminent release of the Horizon: Zero Dawn project on the PC. There is a vacancy on the official Naughty Dog website.
Naughty Dog is currently working on The Last of Us Part 2, which is expected to release on May 29 this year on PS4, and on an as yet unannounced multiplayer project.
